Year-Round Outdoor Adventures
Seasonal Wildlife Activity
The ranch is a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, including moose, mule deer, bald eagles, sandhill cranes, and at least one great gray owl. Step outside the ranch and you'll find bison, bighorn sheep, black bears, grizzly bears, wolves and so many more species you don't see every day in other places in America. Read about seasonal wildlife activity in the links below.
skiing & snowboarding in wyoming
The Jackson Hole area has long been a destination for skiers and snowboarders with the beautiful and challenging slopes of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Snow King Mountain. Driving just an hour north or an hour south brings you to two more destinations. The Grand Targhee Resort is to the north (pictured), while close to Jemas Ranch you'll find the White Pine Ski Resort in the Wind River Mountain Range.
wyoming Stargazing
The only thing more stunning than the brightly painted Wyoming sunsets is the star-studded Wyoming night sky.
Jemas Ranch has partnered with the educational non-profit Wyoming Stargazing to offer exceptional stargazing tours and unique astral experiences. An astronomist may come to the ranch, or depending on time of year, you can take a star tour in nearby Teton County, the neighboring county to Sublette County, in which Jemas Ranch is located.
Teton County was the world's first certified International Dark Sky Community, which means that residents are dedicated to preserving the night sky. With no street lights, Jemas Ranch is bathed in darkness, so all options will provide you with a magical experience.
